Alameda Antique Faire

I did a lot of vintage shopping this past weekend and came up with pretty great finds. I bought a beautiful air plant at Flora Grubb Gardens, a pair of orange velvet wing chairs at Harrington's, a handsome wooden desk with neoclassical details at the SF Antique Mall and a pair of precious brass quails from the Candlestick Antique Faire. Phew! I am going to reupholster the chairs in two different fabrics as they will go in different rooms. The desk is going to get painted in a yet to be decided color. Stay tuned for some before and after posts in the coming weeks. Thanks to my partner in crime Becky for a fun shopping extravaganza!

  10. New to your blog and completely smitten from this post alone. I must admit, I love the desk as is, as I'm a sucker for natural wood. I'm also very intrigued by your apartment and am aching to see more!

  11. That desk has awesome lines. And I love, love the plant from Flora Grubb -- one of my favorite places to go when I can get into the city. Isn't their succulent wall piece amazing?
